Ed and Gini are committed to offering the customer quality products, reasonable pricing and outstanding customer service.

We started our business in 1997 under the name: The Sundeckonline. Ed and Gini are very creative people and fortunately Ed is an extremely talented wood-worker and can take the ideas and make them into a quality product.

Ed has always enjoyed his fishing and decided to take it to the next level by opening this business with his wife Gini. We opened our business with our first custom fishing rod rack made of solid oak in 1997. With all the money spent on rods and reels, it seemed logical to display and properly store these rods in a beautiful solid oak rod rack in our home and office. Our racks are made one at a time per customers specifications.
To this day, we are the only company that offers this type of custom work at a reasonable price.
Our racks are made by a fisherman for the fishermen.

In the beginning we were buying rubber rod holders for our tip racks but they were not meeting our standards of quality and style. Ed soon developed his own specifications and molds were made. Our rubber rod holders have been through many different formulas until FINALLY, in the last 2 years, they are exactly what we want. Outstanding quality. Our rubber rod holders have found many uses besides fishing rod racks. For example, the police departments are using them to secure their shotguns in vehicles, they are in Iraq.....

Gini does all the web-site work, processes the orders, ships and helps in the shop when needed. She also takes all the pictures for the web site. She isn't one for going on boats to fish, but loves the ocean and surf fishing. Ed is going to teach her the art of fly fishing next spring.

In 2006, Ed was diagnosed with leukemia, specifically CLL. This type of leukemia is non-curable and so far the only way to control it is with Chemo. It was a frightening time in our lives. He went through Chemo Therapy in 2009 for 6 months. Hopefully by time he needs to have chemo again, they will have discovered a different method or even a cure. Ed didn't stop working, didn't sit around, instead he got more passionate about life. He couldn't go fishing for a couple of years, so took up the game of golf.
